COMMUNITY RESOURCES

Looking to open a new business in Fields Corner? Or upgrading your brand, storefront, and/or signage? Fields Corner Main Street can help connect you with resources.

Any business within the boundaries of one of Boston's 20 Main Street districts is eligible to get free design assistance and, in some cases, grant funding for storefront and signs.  The ReStore Boston Program helps neighborhood business and property owners with storefront improvements and signage. Restore Boston provides matching grants (up to $7,500 per storefront) to assist neighborhood business storefront renovation projects.  A separate signage program can provide $2,000 grants on a non-matching basis for improving signs. In addition to funding, ReStore Boston provides professional architectural design services at no cost to the business to ensure improvements are well planned and of the highest quality.

Please note, the city’s design guidelines still need to be followed even if a business and/or property owner chooses not to apply for the city’s grant funding.
